Better to give this and Bioshock Infinite the time they need, rather than rushing them out flawed for the holidays. More time to polish is a good thing, I think Gears 3 benefited for it for example.

I'm all for giving it as much time as it needs, as long as it doesn't slip into Holiday 2013. This game looks promising.
March 5th, 2013 release per the trailer.
That trailer is pretty rad. Too bad it's like a year away =[
I got a prepaid Visa in the mail that I think was a rebate for my wife's contacts. It was $45, which was exactly the asking price for this on Steam. It was clearly a sign. Here's hoping the preorders reach level three so both DLC packs will be included.
As more of Tomb Raider has been revealed (including deathmatch multiplayer nonsense being included as I expected it would), my interest in it has deteriorated to the point of not even caring about playing it any time soon. Maybe there's some fantastic creativity behind the linear scriptfest and supposed "tombs" relegated to side missions, that validates the approach they've taken, but I'm not going to believe it until it actually shows itself.
Multiplayer can fuck off in nearly every game, but Crystal Dynamics has dramatically improved and rescued this series after Core ran it into the ground. Frankly I wouldn't mind an Uncharted experience with the Lara character, as it would further reduce my appetite for any of these new consoles. They've earned the benefit of the doubt.
Double check when he posted that.
