They are playing much better tonight, but still cannot get anything in the net. Pekka has been the one keeping these games low scoring. We just don't have the offense right now. I just want to see Nashville get one in the net before returning home for game 3.Quote:

Nashville wins in double OT! Hell of a game. Pekka really proved that he deserves the Vezina Trophy. Such a close and intense game. I want, hope, and think the Preds can win the series, but from the first 2 games, I honestly have to say that either club can win it.
I couldn't stay up anymore and went to bed with 5:00 left in the 2nd OT. Figures. Glad they won, though, they were the better team for most of the game.
Shitty goal that Luongo let in, though.

In the end, Rinne was just a little bit better.
Great defensive battle between the two teams, though I thought Nashville outplayed Vancouver this time. The series could easily go seven games.

I'm not surprised in the least. Tampa isn't a bad team. They're a 100-point team with a Hart Trophy finalist. Their defense is pretty solid.
Watching the game last night was like watching a fighter punch himself out only to get countered and knocked out by a few precise shots by his opponent. "Rope-a-dope" came to mind.
