Mzo got me Beauty and the Beast lol.
It ain't midnight yet, Linette.
Close enough. As if my wallet wasn't injured already from Amazon deals, Gamefly has Transformers War for Cybertron for $12.99 and Bioshock 2 for $9.99.
Everybody should buy War for Cybertron at that price. Not only the best TF game (not that that's a high bar), but one of the best multiplayer vs. games of the gen, no joke.
I just snagged it. I liked the demo, I just didn't $60 like it.
I got it when it was 9.99 at FamilyVideo, we should do a TNL Cybertron warfare.
Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu 1.5 came in.
some christmas cards for the parents
Once again, fuck you Gamefly. Heavy Rain for $19.99.
Got Nail'd and Epic Mickey for review and two USB keyboards for $6 apiece from Amazon today.
My copy of the Tron Legacy soundtrack with large Daft Punk poster arrived today. I need something to hang this up with, it's pretty. It's also not supposed to arrive until the 7th, so hooray fast mail delivery!
Now I can replace the burned CD in my car with the real one.
Sin & Punishment 2 from Newegg. I have bought like 5 Wii games the past couple of months, it feels dirty.
I bought that too from newegg. $16 shipped seemed decent enough. Later that day I went to Target and they had a stack of them for $12.48.
Did u stock up?
I just (99% sure) got a part time job, which is rad since finding something to work around school in this economy has not been fun.
My first purchase after I get a paycheck will be Minecraft. Just kidding! Go fuck yourself Dave, I'm never buying that just for you!
Some Blus Ray:
Robin Hood (Errol Flynn)
2001: A Space Odyssey
Kof: maybe...
SSJN: I have a feeling S&P2 is not a high yield investment. But you never know.
Doesn't have to be high yield. Just has to sell for more than the $14 I paid. That shouldn't be a problem.
Happy Hannukah to me.
DC Samba de Amigo with maracas.
http://www.ataristoteles.com/page_da.../samba_eur.jpg
I want some dc maracas!
They are horrid and imprecise.
I used them all of once like ten years ago, then into the closet they went. I'd sell them, but I don't want to ship something that big. Plus: laziness.
Bought the S.A.V.E. versions of Suzuka: the Complete Series and Air TV: the Complete Series for $19 total on Amazon to try out a couple of anime series that I haven't seen before, but have gotten good reviews. Why not take a chance on them for less than $10 per series?
Also picked up the Dyno Gems/Tehra Dark Warrior bundle on PSN for $3.50. Haven't gotten around to TDW yet, but Dyno Gems is a fantastic puzzle game, and well worth the money on its own.
In Hand:
Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu (JPN Xbox 360) $80 - Though a Day One preorder, it arrived on December 1st so it's going here. Love it. :D
On Order:
Splatterhouse (Xbox 360) $45 - Looks at least OK from the videos I've seen.
The Shoot (PS3) $30 - Another gun game for PS3? Count me in.
Thinking About (now on order, actually) :
DeathSmiles II X (JPN Xbox 360) - I wasn't so interested in this one at first. NCSX is sold out but I just might hit someone up on eBay for it. EOJ's review has me considering it, and if you're looking for a Christmas themed game- what else is there? ;)
EDIT: Just "Caved" and bought DSIIX SE from eBay for $76 shipped. Might as well, before it goes to $200 for even that version.
Got my RightStuf Black Friday haul in (USPS delivered it to my door at like 7 at night wtf):
DC Blu-rays (were $10 each):
Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths
Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
Green Lantern: First Flight
Wonder Woman
Justice League: New Frontier
and a $1 blind buy bargain item to put my order over $50 for free shipping. Unsurprisingly, something I have zero interest in: Comic Party Revolution vol. 1
Gankutsuou: Count of Monte Cristo and BECK are also on there for $12 now. If you haven't seen and passed on either of those series over the ones you bought, you may have the AIDS.
My 68 Univox Hi-Flyer and Matt Sharp's bass showed up today. The Univox needs some work...
NBA 2K11 (360), time to recreate Jordan's feats.
One of them better involve teaming up with the Looney Tunes.
Bacon's mom.
My righteous Dell ST2310 Monitor came in yesterday.
http://i.dell.com/images/global/prod...-overview2.jpg
23in 1080p LED, $129 on Cyber Monday.
Also paid for my digital upgrade to Cataclysm so I don't have to go out and get that shit.
oh crap good idea
What is that, a little speaker bar on the bottom or something?
Wii sensor bar. Wii looks high def on lil screens like that one.
I love it so far, great viewing angles, good color, nothing is washed out. A++++ would recommend to a friend.
As for the bar, I dunno, mine doesn't have that.
Same monitor, but mine looks like

Picked this up about a week ago. Traded in my '03 Accord and got a new 2011 Scion xB. The one pictured isn't actually mine but it looks exactly like it. This is my first new car, I was originally looking for a used one but they're not easy to find around here and I was only finding them a couple of years old with 20K+ miles on them for only about $1500 less than what I paid.
Click for full size
Rig it up with an NES!
Seriously though sweet ride

Freezepop's new CD. Imaginary Friends. Just got my digital DL code around midnight, limited edition 2CD Album and Autographed Poster is on the way.
Chime and Poker Night at the Inventory.
I was interested in Poker Night anyway, so why not get it cheaper than it already is and give myself a (statistically impossible) minor chance at some free big games? Chime is absolutely worth the money for the soundtrack alone. I played three 9 minute games, so like half an hour, and I loved every minute. I'd call that worth a buck and a quarter; cheaper than a soda.
Amateurs. I do about 40,000 miles a year.
It's why I don't buy big fancy vehicles anymore.
Just a bit over 20,000 miles in 5.5 years. :D
I've got a 2004 with about 120k on it. Of note, I didn't drive it all in 2005, or for most of 2010.
Roger Ebert's Great Movies III thanks to arjueokbustahwoof.
It's my favorite volume so far. Too bad this one doesn't have stills to accompany the essays, though.
Chime $1.25
You sure love the Criterion stuff.
What's not to love?
Art of Tangled book, it is FUCKING AMAZING.
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZaxNLfRw-r...of_tangled.jpg
I know the girl who was the model for her hair.
I NEED to get that Cronos Bluray.
Picked up some stuff in Akiba yesterday on my monthly run for relatively cheap after I visited the new Club Sega (which is pretty crappy, 3 floors of UFO catchers, 1 floor of trading card games, small basement floor for real games).

I miss ... can't even remember his name, so I guess I don't miss him that much. The dude who got a sweet cash settlement out of his mom's injury claim, bought way too much stuff and only posted in the haul threads. Yoshi hated him.
[fake edit]: morphix
I bought one of those pink afterglow PS3 controllers by PDP, which is apparently Pelican re-branded (I didn't know this until post-purchase). It's gotten some fairly withering reviews, but so far I love it and have not experienced any of the complaints.
Buttons, sticks, and triggers all feel great. The controller itself is slightly smaller than the official one. It's wired which I looked for ever since my bad experience with de-syncing on Sony's official controller and Nintendo's wavebird, and the horrible battery life of the Wii remote. In fact, the 360 one is the only wireless controller I haven't had issues with.
So now I'm finally free to play games I was too terrified to touch with a controller that would lose sync for five full seconds several times an hour... like Demon's Souls and Disgaea 3 (would auto-skip cutscenes upon resync, causing intense rage).
It was $30.

I have never liked a third party controller. They just don't feel right to me and I feel like they're cheap shit.
I've never had my PS3 controller lose connection mid game, that happens to you often?
Yeah, it's really frustrating. I researched but couldn't get any firm answers as to why. Some claimed it's an early model-PS3 problem, that even after replacing controllers they had it occur. So I didn't want to mess around and just went wired. I've never bought 3rd party controllers either. I like this one now; hopefully it lasts.
My old problem was that they, legally, have to find a different way electronically to accomplish the same result; which translates into they build something not technically meant to be plugged into your system. I saw a lot of burnt out controller slots when I used to work at Gamestop during the reign of the PS2/GC/Xbox. I just figured, why take the risk even if it was minor? This has left me very judgemental and untrusting of third party hardware.
These newer wireless controllers that require nothing to be plugged into the system, or the wired ones that use a USB port anyway, don't seem to have any real risk involved. At least your controller is safe /shrug
Any reason you didn't just get one of these for like 8 bucks and just use the official one wired?: http://www.amazon.com/PS3-Charge-Lin...1932330&sr=8-4
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...5L._AA300_.jpg
Other than length, is that any different from the charge cable that ships with the system? Because that doesn't turn your wireless controller into a wired one, input-wise. It's still using blutooth for its communications with the system. I get just as many de-syncs when using the original Sixaxis plugged in.
Which reminds me, the PDP controller I bought does not have Sixaxis support. No problem for me as I always turn it off in the few games dumb enough to force it in, but if you're a big flOw fan or something, you might want to steer clear.
I don't believe so. I didn't know that having your controller hooked up with the USB cable didn't create a wired setup. I just assumed that it was working off of the wire when it was plugged in. I never would have guessed in a million years that you would get de-sych issues while being plugged in with the USB wire.
NBA Jam (PS3) for twenty.
I found the preorder artbook for Etrian Odyssey III on sale by itself for $5 at Fry's. Awesome, as I love the series' artwork but don't really like the games too much.
Some more RightStuf stuff: The Slayers Seasons 1-3 DVD and Samurai Champloo BR. Dang man, a decade and change ago I bought a VHS of Slayers with like 3 episodes for $30. Now I got 3 whole seasons for less than one of those. Crazy.
And Rumpy got me Empowered vol. 6! Thankyew!
Thank you Timber for vol. 2 of Scott Pilgrim! :)
Is Samurai Champloo BR the whole show?
I believe that's the only way they sell the BD.
Infamous for $15 from Gamefly!
The Wind's Twelve Quarters, Ursula K Le Guin
Been wanting to read this ever since reading The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas in my college short story class. Amazing so far. Thanks again, Timber!
3D Dot Heroes courtesy of film enthusiast and upholder of good taste, D_N_G.
Dos Passos's Three Soldiers first edition, copyright 1921. Sexy. The first few pages aren't even cut.
Resident Evil Deck Building Game
Attachment 59172
It's pretty fun, albeit derivative. First-print rulebook is full of typos and and poor wording for rules though.
Pyle Pro PCA2 Amplifier
Attachment 59173
I'm no audiophile, but this does exactly what I needed it to do, which was power some bookshelf speakers for my computer. A sturdy, well-made unit that I much prefer over the Dayton mini-amps.
Spectrum 17
Attachment 59174
I just always get these when they come out. About the same as any other volume.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent (PC) - $9.99 (Steam Weekend Sale)
Angry Birds (iOS) - $0.99 - I ran out of levels in the holiday one.
HD Pinball (iOS) - $0.99
Present haul:
Huge fucking chips out of both the driver side and passenger side windows of my Explorer.
Apparently some young children of color were looking into it, saw my ipod in the center console and decided they needed to have it really bad.
They only got to take a few swings before someone noticed and yelled after them, so they didn't actually break the glass.
Future haul:
I still need to replace both windows.
Unfuckingbelievable.
PS3 Move Bundle get. Thanks to some Birthday gifts and early Christmas gifts I was able to get it for free.
Free? You got ripped off. lol @ Move.
Found a used Lathe of Heaven DVD for pretty cheap, its been oop for a bit and prices have been creeping up

Dead Space PS3 for $9.99 from Amazon with free shipping. It's about time I picked this up.
Amazon is selling the CE of Dead Rising 2 for $30 so I grabbed it. I would rather have the regular but it's still $50 on there.
Sony Move dildo ball.
Dumbass, if I said all children of color try to steal peoples shit, THAT would be racist.
Learn to English.
If they had been white, would you have said some white children? I doubt it.
You would have just said children.
Had a garage sale vinyl score,
GnR Appetite for Destruction
Queen Shear Heartattack
Pink Floyd Meddle
Rocky Horror Picture Show OST
Led Zeppelin II (unfortunately sleeveless and a bit torn up but still listenable)
Metallica Master of Puppets
Judas Priest British Steele
Some Alice Cooper album can't remember the name
A handful of BOC albums the names of which elude me
Some random Depeche Mode album and a Pet Shop Boys album also, the names of which I'm too lazy to look up.
I got a few more "Let's take a chance" albums from no bodies. Took all this away from some nice old lady for a 10 spot.
I'm not going to waste my time arguing with you. You said what I wrote was racist. As usual, you were wrong. Good day.
We all know why you bothered to say it.
You didn't tell me their shirt color, the brand of sneakers they wore or how long their hair is because those things didn't seem to matter. You told us they were colored because you either thought it was clever or because you thought it mattered. Dig a hole though, its fun to watch.

Just in time for NeoGeo Station
Where did you get it, and does it work with a PC?
From what I've heard they do indeed work on the PC.
