Care to elaborate? Saw you playing this the other day and was curious to know what you thought. (PS. Cheers for the SnR Duo impressions).

Blade Runner
Just started, seems interesting so far. Sort of feels like a hybrid of the book and the movie, to some degree? It definitely uses some material from Androids as connective tissue.
It's this kind of weird feedback loop in which it looks exactly like a Tex Murphy game, but with CG instead of actors and Proper Blade Runner instead of pretend.
Yeah, the whole VK'ing the actress part up to the arrest is right out of the book.
Go post about it in the GOTM thread!
The confusion was from it being so damn different! I think I've got a grip on it since that post, though.
Ultimately, as expected, I'm confident that it's worse than Oratorio Tangram. 2v2 is a huge gigantic enormous game-changer, though, even with all the simplification in other areas, and I think I like it more than what I've played of the Gundam Vs. games. So I'm having fun with it! I wish I didn't get booted from online games so often, though. I'd assume it's connection issue stuff, but I can't read the Japanese error message. Latency is fantastic in the matches I do get in, just like VOOT 5.66 XBLA and VF5.
Grinding out mechs (not just cosmetic items) in an arcade game is pretty ridiculous, though. I'm glad that shit never crept into traditional fighting games.
I decided to hook my Gamecube in the bedroom (to a 32 CRT HDTV, it must weigh 500 pounds) and wanted to play a couple games. I decided to try Mega Man Anniversary and damn, I don't remember the Wiley stages in Mega Man 2 to be so tough. I moved on to Sonic Heroes and that game is just a hot mess.
I just got a SNES flash cart and have been playing the RPGOne retranslation of Final Fantasy 6. It's neat playing an alternate version of a game I have pretty much memorized, and the increased difficulty is welcome. The dialog for the most part is better, but there are things I liked about the original translations better.
No More Heroes 2 - God what a mess of a game. Half the cutscenes can barely run on the system, the poorly implemented motion controls respond to pretty much any movement along with what they're indicating the player should be doing, and there's a lot of grinding of terrible mini-games to purchase upgrades. The writing is god-awful, which wouldn't be so bad if they didn't think they were so clever while shoving all the terrible attempts at witticisms and being self-knowing at the player. If they had written this straight faced with the same people involved it probably would've been humorous, ironically enough.
Thankfully the upgrades and grinding all seem to be optional and the game supports the classic controller, so at least some people on the design team had good sense. The bosses are pretty fun and the stages aren't too long (at least so far) so that's good.
Nier - I'm like 12 hours in and really liking it. It's got a lot of flaws, some of them being hilarious and some are a little annoying, but there's so much good in this I'm really enjoying it. The farming of items for side-quests can be annoying when they only want rare drops, fishing took me a couple minutes to figure out how to hook a fish the first time, the main character really is irredeemably hideous (I thought people were exaggerating, but no), and what the fuck is Kaine wearing?
However, the music is fucking amazing, and if nothing else I would love the game just for the atmosphere. The way everything sounds, the broken down rail tracks, the occasional mention of items from our time, the way lyrics seemlessly integrate with the soundtrack when you get close to a character that sings, the types of hunting and construction of items, the pitiful but not overbearing sickness of the daughter while she tries to be strong, and so on. Another thing I love is that this game somehow didn't fall into the trap that plagues nearly 3D action-adventure game this generation and has block and dodge on separate buttons. The combat is fairly good, if repetitive, and I like the customization of upgrading, adding words, and magic attacks.
Mushihime-sama Futari 1.5 - Pretty awesome. Standard Cave shooter, not a lot to say about this but it'll quench my urge for the genre for a while (or until they release ESP RaDe on XBLA).
Noby Noby Boy
I don't know if this has any staying power, and I can't tell if any actual skill is involved in playing, but the sheer WTF-ness of it is entertaining so far.
You can eat the stuff you poop from your butt.
