My girlfriend doesn't believe in Valentine's Day. She's staunchly opposed to wasting money on it.
Yeah, the bf and I decided that neither of us really cared. I'm really ok with that...I would like some discount candy tomorrow though.
Her issue is that Valentine's Day is basically a meaningless anniversary. Just wait until the day means something to your relationship and then do something better with the money you saved but not buying in to the marketing train.
