I'm 14 hours or so in - pretty enjoyable so far, if getting a bit repetitive. Combat can feel a little long sometimes too if you don't get the surprise attack on the enemy from the map.
Yeah, that's definitely true. You get some good abilities later on that help you group them up into areas of effect and take them down quickly, but it's always mana intensive. Luckily regen items are cheap.
I got to the part where I'm collection wood for a circus camp.
Obviously I stopped playing for about 3 months after that.
