I heard the game was basically like Sacrifice/Brutal Legend RTS/etc. Just with really shoddy mechanics. I really like games like that, it's a shame.
I heard the game wasn't half bad, granted my sources for this sort of thing are fairly baised.
I thought Guilty Gear 2 was great. It suffered from not being what people expected. It was 10x what Brutal Legend was trying to do, before it tried to do it. It's hard to understand how to play it properly though, and the game doesn't do a great job of it. After I read I faq, I understood how the elements came together and really dug it. Shame most people aren't ready for games that are both complicated and unfamiliar.
That deafening silence is the sound the millions (and millions) of people not giving a single fuck.
I'll get excited once there's some real info to this news.
The series peaked at Guilty Gear X on the Dreamcast.
