An update from Buster Olney regarding the Jays/Cards part of that 3 way deal.

The deal could be announced later in the day Wednesday or on Thursday. It's not clear if the Mets will cover the remainder of Beltran's salary. Brown, 22, is batting .317/.386/.466 with eight homers and 39 stolen bases over 459 plate appearances with High-A San Jose this season. He was ranked as the game's No. 33 prospect on Baseball America's midseason list.
That seems like a decent deal given the lack of leverage the Mets have with Beltran wanting to stay in the NL. You can tell Stemar Philmaya is gone.
It was clear the Mets weren't going to get the top-tier prospect they wanted but this guy seems close. Beltran will give the Giants a good bat.
Also, Ervin Santana threw a no-hitter today against the Indians. Tribe got one run though.
Looks like the Mets will just get Giants pitching prospect Zack Wheeler in the deal. Many are high on Wheeler's talent but he is considered to be pretty raw.
I'm glad that the Phillies didn't jump the gun on Beltran but I'm a little disappointed that he's going to the Giants. Oddly enough, I would've rather seen him go to the Braves.
