Well yes, but there's a recovery time built in to those expectations. Or at least there used to be, back when the post-Christmas period was incredibly boring, all those years ago. Now there's a constant stream of new stuff on all consoles. Is there a reason a game like South Park: Stick of Truth won't see a WiiU release at the same time as the other consoles? Or rather, a good reason, aside from THQ imploding?

It was only around for 2 fucking years. That's why you awful people think that it wasn't the most amazing.
It WAS. And it FAILED. BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU. Xbox should've been Dreamcast 2, but it WASN'T and now you have your shitty UI with shit advertisements splattered all over your screen for a service you fucking pay for. It's YOUR fault.
Really yes, the DC had a amazing first year and I know plenty of dipshits who stoned it for lack of Madden. Which is ultimately what I picture Wii U, hey it has some great concepts! Wait it didn't get EVERY MULTI-PLAT????!????@?#??? No dice.

I'm not following you. WiiU games will be coming out too, in fact all of two more that i care about, more than any other console!

Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2? Yeah, those are both required when they hit. I'm just saying that a console's use is defined both by its exclusives and the things it can't play. The Wii couldn't do current-gen gaming because it was too weak, and now the Wii U isn't doing multi-platform stuff because...?

Because a starting out console is going to sell Call of Duty Blech instead of Zone of Enders HD or Under Defeat??????????????????

No. The game I mentioned as an example earlier was South Park: Stick of Truth. That game is getting PC, PS3, and 360 releases, so it would be a reasonable expectation for any current-gen system to have it.

So people still like South Park? Matt Stone and Trey Parker don't even like South Park.
I would've said Bioshock Infinite. That game looks worthwhile. I want that to be on Wii U.

Eh, didn't think of it. GTAV would be nice too. Get on it, Rockstar!

It's not worth the developers' time to port it, because no one is going to buy the version without achievements, cross-game chat, built in storage, etc. Don't worry. They'll get around to it in 2014 for free money to fund their real games on the next gen consoles.
