I ask because I bought Ninja Gaiden 3 on a whim today while I was at Best Buy. I had a coupon that took $50 off a $100 purchase, so I ended up snagging Ninja Gaiden 3 and the Pro Controller for about $54 after tax. This and Resident Evil 6 (my friend grabbed me a $9.99 copy of it at Best Buy last week when he picked up DmC) are going to be the first 3-D games that I attempt to play through in over four years because of my vertigo problems. My vertigo seems to have been under control lately, and I had no problem playing Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed for a few hours with friends....so I think that's a sign that I should be able to handle a 3-D action game again...
But back to my original point...even though I got a good deal on this game/controller today, my time to play games is still very limited. Is it worth playing through the Wii U version of this game? Does anybody know what it does so differently, that causes it to get such a drastically higher score? I played the demo on my friends 360 yesterday, and besides the generic tanks/soldiers I thought it played great, and I'm a big fan of the first two Ninja Gaiden games on the Xbox and 360. I saw in the IGN review that the PS3/360 version had only one weapon the whole game, but does that really warrant giving the game a 3?!
EDIT - And I know I can play the game myself to find the answer to all these questions, but I'd like your guys' opinion before I take this game out of the shrink wrap...after all...$50 is still $50...
Yes.
I don't know from experience, but reviews seem to rate NG3 higher because it came out with a bunch of tweaks/bug fixes that made it more playable/enjoyable. Still not NG1 or 2, but much better than its PS3/360 versions.
Yeah, they did a complete overhaul of the game.

Xenoblade looks amazing, so did the pics of Yoshi.
