I dunno why anyone with an ounce of observational ability would have expected a stance of anything other than "pay for it again lol" from a Japanese media company. That there's any discount at all is a surprise, that it's a pretty steep discount is practically a miracle.
Sony's a happy exception, but they're a lot more globally-minded than Nintendo.
Wonderful 101 is looking fantastic as well, it really shows off the gpu's shaders. Everything looks tangible. It's like I'm a five year old playing with my plastic parking garage and everything is really moving.
