I really want a Super Mario Brothers 2 remake/sequel. They really dropped that thread, and it was a good one. :(

So what they're saying is, Homebrew Channel is the way to go.

shoot, i pressed send before i finished typing "with a revamped visual style in line with Super Mario Bros 2 Real Version". And the entire soundtrack will be played by a Dixieland band, with Koji Kondo on honkey tonk piano, Yuukichanspapa on trombone, Bunbun on clarinet, Miyahon on Trumpet, and ??? on banjo

This. And NES Contra, Pulstar, and Twinklestar Sprites. I think I have everything else I really want on the Wii one, and I cannot imagine spending a cent to "upgrade" them.

I agree it's a problem, actually. If I can't watch a video within 5 seconds of clicking on it (with the little "you can dismiss this ad" button at the bottom) then I just close out. This is for any video on any site on the internet. I'm already wasting time online, but wasting time on ads? Nope.

Those videos already had ads on them because the Let's Play Youtubers always have commercials set up to earn some sort of revenue from hits. Nintendo is letting the videos stay up but are taking out their commercials and putting in their own. Seems fine to me.

I think this also means the Let's Play people aren't getting money from their videos. I have mixed feelings about this. I don't really know how the "playing videogames and talk loudly" thing works, but it seems like it could really cut into the way some people make a living.

but it also makes me want to yell "GET A REAL JOB"

I have never seen an ad on YT. I guess adblock takes care of flash ads, too.
