I was just trying to bug you about the scratch lol
Jerk!
In all honesty, a scratch on the gamepad would bug me. The console, not so much. A few years down the line when these things are a dime a dozen I could always do a case swap.
I actually just plugged in my zelda bundle this weekend also- I'm happy with it. Maybe because my expectations were so low. I was excited to buy it, but not excited to actually turn it on. I got excited again during setup! New things. It'll wear off soon maybe.
-speed seems fine (I know it was fixed). I think the 3ds is too slow, in comparison.
-using the pad as a TV remote is so random but I was really excited about it for some reason.
-interesting how the system is soo community focused. After setup your entire TV is full of randoms 'talking' about games that are out. I didn't mind, kind of like it.
The game I've been playing is ZombiU, which I've been wanting to try. It really is interesting, it uses the pad in a ton of ways which I thought were cool. I guess it's not actually a GOOD game, but I appreciate it. You have to really pay attention, and the game really doesn't hold your hand.. meaning if you read the manual, you'll probably learn something and do better. I guess most people didn't like it?
I'll dig through the online thread and add people using miiverse later, my name there is JohnNiner. There's no consolidated list of usernames is there?
I'll add you later.
Bulleted list of games to try, of course. Pikmin and Wonderful 101 are tops on my list, but NSMBU is also pretty good. Also: Monster Hunter. I will play that shit with anyone online.
I still need to get past the first part of MH3U. Too much Wind Waker and GTAV though.
I have MH3U sealed, staring at me. I'm trying to convince myself not to play it, since I put 250 or so hours into the Wii one and did pretty much everything, but I'm losing that fight.
My backlog is so stupid right now, so stupid.
I kinda went ridiculous with the games, but Best Buy and Amazon had some sweet pricing. Once everything comes in I'll have NSMB, ZombiU, Mass Effect 3, Sonic Racing, hell I even got Call of Duty since it was cheap and I want to play a shooter on the gamepad. Now I just need Pikmin, 101 and Luigi and I'll have pretty much everything I want.
Congrats, new Wii U owners.
Not yet. NNIDs start from this point on.
VC games on the tablet thing has to be sweet.
i rly want this now.
