I'm going back through and getting the star coins I missed.
I don't 100% games these days, but my daughter wants to keep playing Mario.

i thought someone was bumping this to say LOL WII U TANKED LAST QUARTER
which is all the NeoGaf is talking about (except for stupid stuff i don't pay attention to)
and i hope it does well over the holiday or i'll actually be pretty sad
I don't think it will do well over the holiday, BUT the people who have it will be playing better games than what comes out on the PS4/One.
Beloved trope
Last year I didn't understand why anyone was jumping in on the WiiU at launch, I still don't, there wasn't support.
This holiday season people who get the WiiU can play Zelda, Pikmin 3, New Mario and 3D world. Thats a solid line up.
forever. I think it'll do a lot better than doom callers think it will, but not blow the doors off or anything. i want it to make enough profit so that they keep it around for a while and keep firing all engines because it's a pretty neat machine.Quote:

I don't think it'll happen, but i wouldn't be surprised or upset if they offered a non-tablet version of the WiiU, since it's optional with almost all of the big games. $200 or even $250 like the Wii Old sure would be a good price point
It was good for people who just really like Nintendo. and people who can't live without every video game thing.
and wonderful 101. eveyone should buy w101Quote:

Isn't that part of the same quarterly report that said "hey, at least we made money this time, unlike the same quarter last year where we were losing cash left and right?"
I'm glad that these games are coming out either way - I'm feeling more and more that Nintendo stuff falls in the same category as Dragon Quest does for me. I'm not asking it to innovate for the sake of, I get it because it is what it is. Like a sort of comfort food. Same with games like Phoenix Wright - I don't need everything to shake things up all the time. NSMBU and Zelda seem to lean on the familiar. DKC Tropical Boogaloo revisits an old franchise with a new team that's already proven itself. 3D World looks bananas. And hell, I still wanna see what Monolith is up to and what FExSMT ends up being.
I think we'll get some surprise announcements about next year soon (maybe after Mario's out)
Some stuff that might not mean anything:
During the shareholder meeting, kawaiiwata said they're going to boost VC, acknowledged that the library isn't fully utilized (NO FUCKING SHIT), but they didn't say if this was jp only or NA too.
I think you might've brought it up here (maybe on twitter, or was that someone else?) but Reggie mentioned he wanted a new Dragon Quest too, so lets take that as a sly non-announcement of every missed Dragon Quest being released in 2014 (like what 5 3DS games and X) and set ourselves up for massive disappointment when it turns out he was just talking.
