That's really cool. The Macro lens is very tempting.
I know this could go in the bug thread, and I'm not using any filters here, but I used my phone, and the shot ended up looking much better than I had expected. This guy jumped on my twice while trying to get pictures of him. =]

Doing another "photo tag" game on a local motorcycle forum. People take turns taking photos in notable places, the next guy has to match. This is the Dutch Windmill in Golden Gate Park.
Went for two day-long rides this weekend. This morning met up with a friend and his homie, we patrolled the North Bay like dudes after grabbing coffee in the city.

Just got back from an awesome trip/cruise through the Mediterranean. I brought along my SLR but honestly took 90% of my photos with my iPhone, either Hipstamatic or DerManDar. Here's my favorite panorama from the trip.
