When I click on your photo to "view full size" I have to download it, instead of it opening in a new tab. Fuck your hosting.
Ankle lock!
Anyways, now that I find I am not being shunned for my lack of filtration software I will add another photo, of which I have tons.

Taken less than 30 seconds apart. Once again with no filtarationization because radical photography is really just about the moment :icepick:
The moment cut your dogs nose off.
Hey-oh!
I thought that one was going to be useless because it was cropped funny in my phone. Turned out pretty cool with the sparklies.
Yes Pa! Those are great!
Link to wide angle lens please.
It's something like this. Can probably find it cheaper if you look. The top screws off to make macro shots instead of wide angle shots. Basically, you can hold the lens right up next to something and get focus.
Here's another link, pretty much identical product. Looks like the adhesive ring that goes onto the phone (to create a magnetic surface for the lens attachment) will cover up the flash on an iPhone 4. I was just holding the lens against the iPhone's camera when I took the picture of my jeans.
Radical. Pretty sure I'm gonna blow $40 on that one in the first link.
Is there a service that will convert your old analog joints to digital? I have some awesome old large format cameras I'd love to be able to use again.
If there isn't one of those, there fucking should be. You could charge whatever the fuck you wanted, and hipsters would buy it. I certainly would.
Ear drainage?
It was a three dog morning today and the picture came out good.

Rad picture again.
The biohazard was a culture of pus from a staph infection in my knee.

I love this thread!
I'm a heavy user of photo apps on my iPhone too. I mainly use Camera+, picplz and ToonPaint.
I prefer picplz over instagram because it doesn't force you to crop to square, and it shares to Dropbox (both filtered and unfiltered versions of your photo) so I always have my photos on all my devices and computers.
Here's a few, taken in Camera+ and then run through picplz (I kind of love their Russian Toy Camera filter).

I haven't used Hipstamatic in a long, long time. Might reinstall it tonight after seeing some of these shots :)
Very nice shots, that sunset is awesome.
That was taken in Camera+, applied it's 'Clarity' filter, then pushed through picplz with it's Russian Toy Camera for the dramatic black edges. I have the HD copy as my desktop wallpaper at work :)

I dig that popeyed cat.
Dude with the truck is the tech at Soldano, inventor of the Kunka Special and owner of that rad seafoam 400 watt Fender bass amp. That truck is boss in a number of ways. Popeyed cat = tip of the iceberg. This was on the way back from the HAM radio swap meet.
I would like to modify an old radio into a small practice amp. do you have the juice?
also: i am pretty sure somebody stole the PPP from my practice spot :td:
Oh fuck
I can't do the mod. The first thing I do with tubes will be a champ kit.
Is that a skateboard?
I think it is.
Who's the creep staring?
Dude, that's kingoffighters.
Neat sky.
Here's three from a visit to my local amplifier company!
This christmas treeass Chineseass turd is the worst sounding amp I ever heard in my life.
http://www.the-nextlevel.com/tnl/att...7&d=1304875574
The guts of the highly expensive and rare Cornford 50 are neat to look at but I can't help but think it's just a shitload of wasted effort.
http://www.the-nextlevel.com/tnl/att...8&d=1304875574
See Cornford? Here's how shit's done:
http://www.the-nextlevel.com/tnl/att...9&d=1304875574
That first amp is the ugliest fucker ever.
[fascism]These joints should be in the Music Gear thread![/facism]
But the fartsy look might go unappreciated!
I always appreciate it.
I went to a haunted rock show the other night!
http://www.the-nextlevel.com/tnl/att...1&d=1304877134
All the good ones are haunted.
I like that dime one.
The big island of Hawai'i is a crunkass place. It features eleven of the 13 different types of climate simultaneously. The mountain Mauna Kea goes from sea level to 13,800 feet. At 13,700 feet there are ten or so really wicked telescopes taking advantage of what I was told is the best place for stargazing on land anywhere in the world. Any tourist can pay a hundred bucks and pile into a van. This van will take you to the top and you can get out and explore the moon looking landscape and even see the telescopes from outside. But you can't go in. Unless you know the IT guy! My gf's family is friends with CFH's IT guy and he is in this picture.
http://www.the-nextlevel.com/tnl/att...1&d=1305040899
I've got many more good ones of the visit to the telescope.
You lucky son of a bitch.
Josh.
I'm going strait from 3GS to 5, damnit.
That's awesome though. Kickstarter is such a rad service.
I just dropped them $45.00, hells yes.
That warms my heart. I'm all about some power wagons. I grew up around the military version. My dad has like 4? There were a lot of weekends spend fiddling with them.

Both very awesome. Is that skyline stitched together or just one frame?
That's 5 photos stitched together using Auto-Stitch Panorama (fantastic app, btw), then pushed through picplz's instant film filter for the green hue.
Is autostitch as hilarious as 360 panorama?
360 Panorama is pretty good, provided 1) you've got plenty of lighting and 2) you don't bother to fill the vertical space. Here's a picture of San Francisco's coast on the morning after the Japanese earthquake. No tsunami.
Mine only creates Escheresque nightmare images from hell. It's kind of awesome for that, actually. There is a thread for that app somewhere around here.
You've got an iPhone Slow though, right? I saw your pictures, I'm pretty sure you could avoid those with my rules above (you can make solid low-light photos with a steady, slow hand). Though having a slower processor probably makes it harder.
It's a lot more about the image just spinning wildly I think. And yeah... 3GS up in this bitch. I'm gonna go outside into the bright, bright sun and give it another try in a little bit.
Btw... I LOVE those crazy pod cars in your shot.
Super fartsy. We're taking it to the next level.
It's to make up for my last (awesome) Guitar Wolf shot that that guy who is definitely NOT Doc Holiday got all art school about.
BTW, Hipstamatic updated with a free lens and added another $.99 pack. Very '80s/rollerskates.
Brb purchasing now.
Push notifications for limited time downloads also. Awesome.
I wish you could push existing photos from your camera roll through hipstamatic (I couldn't work out how to do it). I prefer taking my shots in Camera+.
You can't. The whole point is not knowing what's coming out of your "camera"
Being able to try out different filter combos and deciding what you like kills the fun.
Same company makes a "darkroom" app if you want to be a faggot about it. There is also a program out there called Photoshop.
My problem is that as a camera app, it sucks.
Will try Darkroom app in-between sucking cocks.
Protip: You can suck a dick whilst rendering!
And people complain about iPhone multi-tasking!
Oh, re: Auto-stitch panorama, it actually stitches individual photos together (from the camera roll), and works like a charm on the 3GS.
Sweet.
I'm into that 2nd one.
Another awesome KickStarter project which can be used to attach your phone to a tripod (among many other uses). Just backed it as well!
http://theoona.com/images/kickstarter_SMALL/5.jpg
Hipstamatic is selling a tripod mount these days too.
Mark - There's a video on the kickstarter page, but it's basically a multi-position suction based stand, with screw holes to suit the standard camera mount plate as well. The video shows it all off much better than I can describe here. $25 is a steal.
I'm dum, didn't realize your text was a link.
Looks pretty clever, but I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to suction cups.
Yeah I know what you mean, but the video makes it look pretty sturdy, and for $25 what the hell.
Jesus these camera attachments are blowing up right now. This isn't photography so much but I figured you guys would like it so what the fuck;
Dot - 360 Panoramic Video
$100 is pretty steep, but that's a really fucking cool little device. On the fence right now.
There was another 360 video attachment I saw on Kickstarter a few weeks ago, and I think they wanted just $50. It was a lot bigger, but it worked with the phone held vertically instead of on its side.
Here it is.
Just snapped a few photos outside my favorite watering hole this afternoon.

Love number 4.
I just wish I had held that one a little steadier, it could have been ever better.
I love the lighting and clarity of the last one. I'll have to remember those settings.
Was on my lunch break and saw this cool cloud formation. Not sure if the picture really shows the depth/distance between the puffy clouds and the thin, stretched out clouds.

That's a good one!
Thanks! Beautiful sunset last night, made for a nice hour long walk down the coast.
I don't believe that you took that picture.
It's a shop. an internet meme. There's a whole site dedicated to making them.

How can you tell? From the pixels?
no, the website in the corner.
Amazing.
2011
...And they were never heard from again.
I can't tell if corn dog is just young and everything is going over his head or if he is playing along.
Here are a couple of pics I took earlier in the year.
The picture at The Ballpark in Arlington, was taken when I was sent there to activate the routers for the ATM's. This photo was shot the day before the Ranger's season opener.
The other picture was taken inside the highest building in downtown Dallas; inside of that penthouse area, is communications equipment for radio, television and wireless networks.
