I watched them during a marathon on AMC. I really like the first one. This one is kind of like... i Robot meets Deep Blue Sea.
1) This medical treatment wouldn't be something that could effect gametes so the children of these apes wouldn't be as smart as them.
2) Everything else that's wrong with that trailer.

The first Planet of the Apes flick is great. The late 60's through the 70's produced a lot of great (and bizarre) sci-fi.
The Tim Burton Apes film is like shitting glass.
Looks so stupid. Will probably make a 100 million dollars though.
