Type out what I can remember and search for it. Only for the actual homework problems in math do I use a textbook, if those were posted online I wouldn't use a physical book for any of my classes. I have a page I keep with all the formulas in case I forget one and need it.

I don't have to worry about that since I graduated college years ago. Take the hint.

In the long run, I think the US will benefit. China and other manufacturing countries will continue to rape their natural resources without abandon, and suddenly they'll have nothing but spent mines, dry wells, and fallow fields. I think this is the point where we will start manufacturing again.

The "paper industry" isn't the issue. Yes the executives will survive the transition from a company that manufactures a product to a rights management company. The issue is the average joe operating the press at the book factory. He loses his job and ends up flipping burgers because the job that replaced his job is overseas. No, that American companies are being allowed to export jobs to third world hell holes Americans could only ever hope to compete with by also becoming a third world hell hole.
