This is true too, but there will be people that buy it.
It makes more sense to lead with an inferior version. Look at all the rereleases of games. Announcing another version is inevitably coming hurts that though.
They almost don't have to announce it any more. How many third party games don't come to PC now? When stuff like Deadly Premonition and Metal Gear Rising were announced, there were not many left.
We're getting darn close to that. But still, look at GTAV.
OK, Mr. Monster Cable Self-Control might not get it, but there will be a few of us that do.

I won't. The only console games I buy are ones I honestly don't think are coming to PC, and I'd have to be an idiot to think that about GTAV. The only exceptions are things with a hook like Cross Buy or extra content, and that would have to outweigh the PC benefits. For example, next fall when I finally get around to AC4, I might go with the PS4 version because of the extra content that ties to the Vita game. Thankfully, it'll probably be free on PS+ by then too.
