Still weird not to support the standard out of the box. I think they want to sell some proprietary shit.
I got the Pulse Elites, they are pretty good quality for a wireless headset. Battery life is not the best (and it's not AA, so you have to plug in to get more time)
I never have used a BT headset for consoles. I'm gonna plug my 360 mic into the controller if it doesn't come with a pack in.
I use a BT headset on my PS3, works pretty well, hopefully the patch doesn't take too long.
$5 bluetooth headsets > $70 proprietary ones
