I am saying there is structural incompetence here that leads companies not to make the stuff they can sell. I don't think Sony or Microsoft know better, no, because they keep doing this. Whether it is because they keep underestimating demand (a form of incompetence), or price it too low (another form of incompetence), or just can't get the systems built (another form of incompetence), that's another story.
"Match demand with supply" is not some cutting edge business concept.
