On PS4, are any of you guys experiencing notification failures? As in, someone sends me a message while I'm in-game and I get no pop-up notification. Yet when I go to my inbox it's there. Same with trophies lately. I haven't gotten a trophy notification in forever but when I got to the list apparently I'm still earning them. Everything in my notification settings is checked on, btw.
Anyone else?
Was hoping Sony would be as quick to talk about their post EU launch numbers as their NA launch, but I guess this'll have to do for now: http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/ps4-h...the-uk/0125169

Over 250k PS4 consoles were sold in the UK in the machine’s first 48 hours on sale.
Retail sources have confirmed the extent of PS4’s tremendous performance to MCV following Chart-Track’s confirmation this morning that PS4 is the UK’s fastest selling console ever.
MCV estimates that UK PS4 sales reached approximately £87m during this period.
Xbox One sold in the region of 150k units in its first 48 hours on sale.
This means that the current-gen trio (which until recently referred to as ‘next-gen’) already enjoys an install base of around 600k units in the UK. Both PS4 and Xbox have already comfortably outsold Nintendo’s Wii U, which was released in the UK over a year ago.
I'm guessing that about 2:1 in favor of PS4 will be the worldwide total once all the launch numbers are out.
I think they'll both sell out in the short term, so any early delta is likely either supply or allocation limitations.
I'm glad both systems are doing well.
I really really doubt that Sony produced twice as many PS4s as Microsoft did Xbox, and that is what drives sales right now.
I am sure that MS could have sold 250k systems in the UK had 250k systems been available. Oh well, I guess MS and their partners really don't need that extra $70M or so of revenue right now.
Yes, corporations are always willing to sacrifice a bird in hand this quarter for possibly two next quarter!
