Can they cram any more shit into the dual shock? They still haven't switched around the dpad and analog yet. I'm sure they don't want to change too much, because the fanboys would lose their shit.
I don't think they'll ever swap the dpad and left analog, it's kind of a playstation staple to have it set up that way
also the new machine will probably need native usb 3.0 to power all that shit on the controller
Why does that box have Gamecube controller ports?
I like that design, assuming it's real, simply because the new shit I don't want doesn't appear to screw up the traditional stuff I do want. Thus, anything the touch pad adds is just a bonus instead of a tradeoff, cost set aside.
Whoa. That thing has a d-pad, not 4 buttons separated by plastic strips. Did a patent run out or something?
It looks better than the current Dual-Shock, so I'd like it be true. As long as the triggers aren't once again the worst thing to happen to controllers since the Sidewinder was released I'll be happy.
You know what system had a great idea for triggers? The GC. They were analog with a digital click at the end. So much could've been done with that if they had been on a system with better support.
All I really want them to change is the grip on their analog sticks. They shouldn't be so convex. This looks good to me.
