For you. I downloaded all 40 gross gigs of MCC in under 2 hours. While I had my PS4, it wasn't as slow as PS3, but certainly not getting all of my advertised bandwith (Wired and wireless) than my One is (again, wired and wireless).

I do wonder if it has something to do with people's setups and/or ISPs, I would love it if someone figured out there was some stupid router settings or something to make it go fast.
It doesn't help that for some reason my PS4 wont recognize the network over an ethernet connection so I am forced into wifi. I haven't done any troubleshooting yet to determine the cause, but I've got a weird network in my house so I doubt it's the PS4's fault.
I don't think its my setup either, since everything else on the network gets full bandwidth or close to it. From laptops and desktops to cellphones. The ONLY things slow on my set up are the video game consoles. Also holy fuck at 30 minutes I wish my PS4 or Wii U went that fast, Shidoshi has special connection confirmed.
I've setup the PS4 with a static IP, setup the console with DMZ in my router, as well as port forwarding. It's not my setup.
This is all anecdotal obviously, but right before the outage, I downloaded Far Cry 4 which is roughly 24 gigs. When the download initialized, it had the remaining time at 11 hours. It then crept up to 17 hours, hovered there for a few minutes, then decremented back down to 11 hours where it remained. I assumed that was the final tally, so I went off and played a few games. About 35 minutes later, on a whim, I decided to check the status of the download, and it stated it was done. At first I thought it was either a partial download or a corrupted file. I then attempted to play it, and it was the entire game fully intact. PSN has always been excruciatingly slow for me for the entirety of my subscription to the service to the point where I dread having to download anything from there. I don't even know what is going on anymore.
You guys have it good.
It just took my 360 about an hour to dl a 75mb file.
Argh, I still can't get this fucking thing to connect using the ethernet port, and I'm using the same wire as the PS3 so I know it works. Is this thing picky about routers or something? My router is pretty ancient.
Hmm. I just plugged mine into the router and it worked. (I run all my consoles wired.) So that's weird.
I tried hooking the PS4 directly up to the cable modem and it worked perfectly and was pretty damn fast as it downloaded Injustice (4.8 gigs) in half an hour. Still a lot slower than my computers but well within the acceptable range to me. Guess I'm going router shopping.
