Tranfarring is pointless unless they sell the games together for a discounted price. No one's going to go out and buy a game on two platforms at launch.
The HD remakes are disappointing too because they're not remaking the textures or models. At least that's what I inferred from their description of what they're doing to update them.
Peace Walker is great, but its going to fail miserably on the consoles if they dont update the game for consoles. Peace walker and its controls worked on the PSP, but it came with some compromises.
Wow, who woulda thought that MGS Peace Walker would EVER make it to 360? No chance in hell and there it goes. I thought id never get to play it. I wonder if the console PW will have online coop? MGS 3 is now going to be 60 fps which is awesome. I usually dont care about achievements unless its games I REALLY like - I am excited for them in the MGS collection. I hope they make cool ones like Tranq bosses only and stuff.

Awesome news on the HD collections from Konami. Peace Walker will be a million times better with online co-op and a second analog.

The MGS pack sounds awesome. I played through 2/3 to prep for 4 and they were both awesome. They even still look good today, especially #3's jungles. And I wasn't going to play PW after suffering through PO so I'm on board 100% here.

I like that XCOM trailer. The alien geometric effects are neat. To me, they sort of hint at something that a human mind cannot comprehend. Like you're only seeing one facet of a multidimensional being. Too bad it isn't real X-Com, but the series has already had two rather questionable forays into other genres already.
