Street Fighter III: Third Strike: Online Edition

I'll maintain that focus attacks/focus cancels/armor breaks put IV over the top for me; working backwards, I like the dynamics of that system a lot more than high/low/red parry. Nevermind the OMG COMEBACK MECHANIC crying.

Says you. Its my opinion. Stuff just works right in SFIII, esp at my play level. I listed a bunch about Ultras - SFIII's risk/reward of using EX or not is 100% how it should be done.

People can sit in the down block and/or tech throw all day in 4 because the overhead attacks are worthless. I have so many (good) overhead options and can play so many more mindgames with people's blocking even with horrible characters like Sean in III. Also, 4's gameplay relies far too heavily on crossups - not so much in 3. Dont forget the superior character movement of 3 too.

Those sound like basic 2d fundamentals to me. I rarely even parry in SF3 but can still compete with basic 2d fighter skills. I cant really say that about 4, not being able to link combo or FADC at will. Again, stuff just works in 3. Its how I remember and define Street Fighter and how it should play to a tee. Too much nonsense in 4.

I got my 8 way restrictor plate. It works wonders for Yun since I no longer guess where the down-forward switch is on the stick. Tried it on this and I was dive kicking all over your mothers. I tried in AE and HO HO HEIGHT RESTRICTION on the dive kick. Does Rufus have one? His is infinitely better. Also, my genai jins weren't fucking up as much in AE. Still got work to do in 3S.

I don't think Rufus has one. But Rufus also doesn't have like 90% of yun's shit.

PS this lobby system sucks.
