Pretty damn good for 20 bucks with four buddies, but playing on the lower difficulties is a snoozefest. your team AI needs worked on, but again it's not a problem if you have a full server. I played on PC and for the most part despite being P2P only the connections were solid, but the lack of push to talk means peoples mics are always on, and the only remedy is to turn voice chat all the way down. (Not a big loss, it seems laggy anyways.) Vent/TS will solve that problem. This game community will thrive or die based on the developers speed in patching and delivery of new free or cheap content. There is talk of a 1920s pack on the Steam forums from the developers.
This game is the real deal. so many people said this game looked like a LFD ripoff but I dont see that at all. For one the enemies have amazing A.I. They act just as you would expect a real person to act. I love the leveling system and I live the random placement of the objectives each time you it really feels like you have to case the joint before you start the robbery.
And things go wrong randomly, too. Saws malfunction, the hook has to be raised so the plane can catch it. Never a moment's predictability in-mission.
Payday: The Heist - No Mercy is a crossover between Payday: The Heist and Left 4 Dead.
Those are two games I need to spend more time with if anyone is interested.
