Fucked around with the ios ap today and made the mountain soup combo for 14 matches of Double XP. I'll be on in a few.
Having to unlock shit is a lame drag in this, no doubt, but it's going quickly and I'm never really pissed about it when I'm actually in a match.
This has been a lot of fun so far.

Like I hinted above, probably about 6/10th of my enjoyment in COD was the experience bar. Halo doesn't need it to be good. I played hours of Reach and 3 without it.Quote:

Yeah, the experience bar in terms of weapon unlocks is completely inconsequential for the most part. The only place it's going to make a difference is specific specialization based perks, which from the looks of it are pretty awesome additions but not entirely game changing. Like the one where you have radar while scoped in.
Finished the campaign yesterday, loved it. Can't wait to play through it again on Heroic, and then Legendary, along with way more War Games and Spartan Ops.
As someone who originally had no faith in 343i and this game when first announced, I couldn't be more happy to be wrong. Both are tremendous.
Hay lets do spartan ops.
