Fuck this game and its shitty art style.

If I were to, theoretically, buy one Vanillaware game - Muramasa Rebirth or this?

I worry about repetitiveness and SP viability of this... while a lot of people didn't like Muramasa once you got past the art (story of Vanillaware I know).

Muramasa got dropped the second it got grindy, so I dunno.

Yeah, but CoP was a piece of garbage dressed up with fancy packaging. The reviews I've read of Dragon's Crown all take pains to point out that this is not the usual Vanillaware awkwardness.

You do need to have played 7 hours of SP before you are able to play online though. That's oddly arbitrary.
