I think someone on the art staff just really, really loves women with tree-trunks for legs. I'm not talking birch here either, I mean mighty hundred-year-old oaks.

Also, if you click on full-size on the witch, you can see the painter tossed in a half-circle of nip poking over the edge of her dress. Tiny little things for breasts of that size, but anatomical accuracy doesn't seem to be a high priority here.

It's a fucking stylistic choice that is consistent throughout all of the art and in-game assets. Stop talking about things you don't understand. Wait, I just realized who I'm talking to.
