It seems like this focuses too heavily on just a few people and I'm not sure how they'll develop that, but I like the people they've chosen at least.
1) too much (neck)beards/unkempt facial hair & hipster glasses
2) finally notepad++ makes its film debut
lol at all the artsy deep photo shots in the trailer.
I'd watch it.
Anyone seen this yet?
It's out for $10:

Yeah, I liked it. If nothing else it's a pretty interesting look at how the XBLA service works.
I don't want to hear Johnathan Blow or Phil Fish talking and being weird idiots. Should I still watch or is it just going to make me mad?
It's both a pretty well-made documentary and something that will make you mad.
the part Firstblood mentioned is gold. soulja boy is so right about Braid.
There are some seriously heart warming parts with Team Meat. And they don't focus on Jonathan Blow all that much.
It's mostly a Phil Fish and Team Meat movie, and it does a pretty good job of showing how weird and awful Phil Fish and the skinny guy from Team Meat are.
haha, as long as the movie knows they're awful I think I'd like it.
The movie does look pretty interesting, I look forward to checking it out at some point.
Price is down to $5 during the STEAM sale period.
I watched it last night and it was pretty good. Definitely worth $5, but probably not $10.
I was hoping for a bit more insight into the technical workings of these projects, but it mostly just focused on the people's personal backstories. I also would have liked to see how FEZ's release turned out, but of course, the movie released before the game was done.
Basically, this was like a MTV episode of TRUE LIFE: I'm an independent game developer.
Is there a video of the part with Soujla Boy and Braid? I have seen the original on YT and it was hilarious. I'd love to see Blow's reaction
This game is awesome! Ain't no point to the game
They juxtapose the videos. Jonathan Blow doesn't sit there and watch it, nor is what he says directly referring to it in any way
ah
boo ;(
Those responses say totally different things. I trust Firstblood.
Ah, I remember seeing the movie at GDC Asia last year. It was reeeeally good.
It's up on Netflix, good thing I didn't pay for this before!
Of course Firstblood was right.
