Time to make a bunch of ebay listings for empty boxes! WHAOW
This is not a problem unique to TNL. It's a common male instinct to some extent, but it's especially common among young men with disposable income.
The need to acquire heaps of stupid bullshit.
I think just about everyone on this forum has experienced it to some extent. Myself included. At some point, a man (if he is a real man) matures and realizes he no longer needs the fleets of classic cars, the racks of DVDs and video games, the closets full of guitars.
I "like" Legos, Transformers, all that stupid shit. I peruse the toy aisle at Target, look at the new Harry Potter Legos, the new GI Joes, Transformers, all of it. But I never buy anything, because...I don't need it. I won't use them. I won't play with them. All they do is take up space.
Who needs it?
I sold off most of my games a few years ago, too. To this day, I try to sell off games I don't seriously intend to play and/or finish. Don't need the clutter. Same goes for DVD's and Blu-Ray's.
I do about the same. I'll walk through the toy isle, movie isle, and game isle and rarely buy anything. Toys, almost never. Maybe like 1 thing a year? If even that? And the toy will end up on ebay in a few months. Or just give it to an old coworker's kid. I almost never buy dvds or games. I might get something if it is a weekend and a friend is over and we want to watch something while having a drink.
I don't really care what you do with your money. Interest change. If you're not wasting money on "stuff" you're probably spending it on women, or trips, or going to bars or some other shit. Whatever.
I just don't like being wasteful or for other people to be wasteful.
Burn it all.
