How many people fawning over Darkstalkers even played the games when they first came out in the 90s? Do you people really know what you're getting into?
I'm not sure if I want an Ono-lead Darkstalkers game. Frankly, the thought is terrifying.

Do you? Everybody has at least played 1 (pretty much the first proper fighting game on PSX back in the day, tallbox and all), a bunch of us have owned some game in the series at some point or another.
Vampire Savior imports were also pretty big around these parts, I'd imagine.
I bought a saturn for VS and the Ram Cart.
Meeee too. I picked up that, Cyberbots, and X-Men vs. Street Fighter in the same order.
US Saturn though, cart swaps all day long. Not the best solution, but I got to be really good at it!
Vampire Savior was the first fight man game i ever got into!
I liked it! I could do every move. Even Lilith's rhythm game super!
Dipstick just wants to sit in his neckbearded tower and pretend to have Secret Knowledge.
They were the best thing going! We had that shit hooked up in the school library.
Agreed. SFxT does look too similar to SSFIV- they should at least change the HUD. I'm not surprised since Capcom has recycled the Alpha sprites in pretty much all 2D Vs. games. Watch there be a MvC3: Arcade Edition on NesicaXLive in 2012.
Let's get Necro and Twelve in a new DS, even if it's by paid DLC. They'd fit right in. Would it kill Capcom to make one 2D fighting game BTW? Hire Arc System Works to do it, with a couple of Capcom guys on hand to make sure they don't fuck it up.
Arc isn't as good as Capcom was in the height of the heyday, is the problem.
I'd rather they just go ahead and go 3D than half-ass the 2D. (Hi HDR!)
