Darkstalkers Are Not Dead

I never liked Darkstalkers.

I don't have the link on hand, but I remember reading an interview with someone from ArcSys asking if they would be at all interested in doing another Darkstalkers if Capcom came calling, and they responded with a flat-out "No".

Damn. Looks like it's 3D or nothing. Still, SFIV isn't too bad for going 3D. At least it kept side-stepping/8-way run away from the series and generally kept the gameplay of SF (the Revenge system can fuck off OTOH- Ultra Combos do too much damage.). Take Revenge away and SFIV would be near perfect.

While it's probably not an easy thing to do, I'd like to see Capcom bring Twelve into a 3D game.

I'd like it if Cyberbots Capcom would come back! They had a great design team on staff back then.

I think it's already been said that the "announcement" was just a cheap ploy to drum up interest and that there are currently no plans to make a Darkstalkers fighting game.

Fuckers need to put everything else on hold until they get back to making LEGENDS THREEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Yes, the worst sub-series of a horrible franchise must be the priority. ok, maybe that's Battle Network, but Legends is right there.
