What kind of a monster would change the voices?
The Japanese voices do not allow the full experience of getting stuck in. If you really need them... you don't. Just leave it.
One thing I don't understand about this game is that I do quests and quests and quests, but I haven't leveled up any of the locations. Should I do more quests?
ALL OF THE QUESTS.
There are a shitload of quests in that game... I'm pretty sure this one is going to clock in wellllll over 100 hours for me.
I'm 130 hours in, with just a couple of sections to go... but a LOT of new quests just opened up.
My award for Character Who I Thought Would Hate But I Guess Not: Riki, the deadbeat daddypon
LEVELING UP AREAS: After finishing a quest, go back and talk to everyone mentioned in the conversation and you can get more Affinity for the area.
And now so that I DON'T HOG ALL TH' GLORY, Here's a question that may have an obvious answer: in battle you have the stats on the left with HP, character art and status effects Each character has two segmented meters under the stats. What do they mean?
I decided to finish the story... after 185 hours! I still want to be able to slay all five of the so-called "super bosses". I've beaten one so far.
(It's not really a spoiler; your characters max out at level 99, and there are five beasts in various parts of the world with levels ranging from 100-120! This is the part where gems and strategies come into play, versus level-matching.)
(I have been able to beast-mode red-plates with a carefully arranged team of Reyn/Riki/(seventh character).)
Not long ago, during a meeting of Japanese developers...
"I've an idea! Let's make it so that every enemy drops a chest! Then, the player will have to press a button to choose to open that chest, because not everyone wants loot, right? Then the game will pause for a second as it loads up what is in the chest! Then, the player will have to press a button again to take the loot!"
"That is just the tedious nonsense we need to make our 40vhour long RPG turn into an 80 hour RPG with nothing really added to the game! Brilliant!"
I just started this a few hours ago. I like it a lot so far, but that shit is annoying.
You'll eventally run out of inventory space too. It's not nearly as bad as Mass Effect though.
WTF?!
Aeris dies??!!
