I was wondering the same thing, except without the buying part. I just need to know if a completely unaltered original version of the Star Wars trilogy exists and what sort of name it had (Special Deluxe Collector's Original).

Honestly, these changes don't bother me at all. Lucas could put CG dicks coming out of Luke and Leia's ears and have Vader take cumshots to the face from Peter Cushing if he wanted to, and it'd be fine. What DOES bother me is his insistence that the original, unaltered versions are his "rough cuts" and should never be made made available to the fans who want them. You know, the same people that made Lucas the money to make all these changes as well as film his gay new trilogy.
Even the DVDs that were released a few years ago were just transfers of the old laserdics, as opposed to being re-mastered for DVD. Lazy and half-assed.
Whatever. I think I've seen these movies so many times that I'm almost permanently burnt out on them, anyway.
I haven't seen the original films in over a decade now. Really looking forward to Lucas dying so someone finally releases a real HD print!
Lucas could learn a thing or two from Ridley Scott. He had no problems releasing a Blade Runner blu ray that includes every single completed cut, even the stuff that the studio forced on him.
They're out of print again so you'll have to buy 'em off marketplace sellers but here they are..
A New Hope
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
I picked all those up when they were released and I'm officially done buying these movies until Lucas dies and someone puts these prints out remastered.
I have 1080p rips of the OT special editions. I used to rage pretty hard about some of the changes, but I don't care anymore.
I could understand if the neckless bastard had made compromises in the first film and it didn't quite equal his original vision, but its success pretty much guaranteed him the budget to make the rest of the trilogy everything he wanted them to be. Most of the things added to the special editions were trivial and stupid, while there were plenty of glaring faults that seemed to actually get worse with each edit. Instead of fixing the awful composite work and non-existent depth of field effects in the rancor battle, for example, he added shitty musical numbers and throwaway CG 'enhancements' that only served to make the unaltered scenes look shitty by comparison. And of course every film needed to have more wipes than my ass after dinner at KFC.
That added musical shit in Jabba's palace might be the worst crime committed by a human in history, made even more hilarious by how shitty 1997 CGI looks now
I've never really gotten in to any big nerd things like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. I like them just fine, but they are not even in my top 10 list of movies / series I like. So changes being made to them don't stir any mixed emotions in me. Vader is still Luke's father, Han still knows Leia loves him, etc., etc.
I don't lose any sleep over it, but as someone who loved these films as a kid, it does bother me to see them only released in mangled form.
If this kind of shit happened to, say, Big Trouble in Little China, I'd be fucking angry.
Ol' Jack Burton wouldn't stand for that shit.
