This rook almost beat the undefeated SB champs. Too bad the defense didn't feel the same way.

Well to be fair, no defense has really stopped the packers too much. I think last week with 24 points or something was the lowest they've scored this year?

I meant more specifically when Vikings punted on 4th and 10 with a few minutes left in the game with all their timeouts left plus the 2 minute warning. They couldn't stop the run after stuffing it for the entire game to give Ponder a chance to win the game.

There was also that blwon coverage by Abullah that left Gennings WIDE open for like a 75+ yard td.

Someone explain to me why the Saints are pulling the same shit the Patriots did, and leaving their starters in a game that's over? I'd rather not see the Saints throw themselves into the ring of "who can be more tasteless".

Fuck that. Leaving starters in is a dumb risk but if they can keep scoring more points there is absolutely no reason why they shouldn't want to do just that. It's the point of the game.

The most entertaining games may be the narrow victories, but the most satisfying victories are those where the team leaves the losers and their fans contemplating suicide.
