Sure, why not.

I can't even get the Xbox One to turn off half of the time I ask it to, let alone do any other interface stuff.
And the argument I'd make is that an interface shouldn't only be usable when using voice commands. If you skip them, the entire UI is still a total mess. To be fair, Microsoft has been putting a lot of work into firmware updates since the console's release—far more than Sony has on the PS4—but it's still a pretty terrible interface in a number of ways.
Bullshit. There are 3 tabs. Main, Store and Pins. If you can't handle that, maybe it's time to give up.
Edit: Soon to be 4, with a friends/social tab.
It responds to the voice of myself and my wife close to 100% of the time unless I have the speakers up really loud. Also, you can pin everything to the left tab. Also, you can launch everything through Smartglass. And everything loads very fast. Like, 900% faster than my Xbox 360.
One big problem with the 360 is that game data can be stored in the user profile. So the more games you play, the worse your experience gets (especially startup). That's great design right there. I'm pretty sure there's no way to fix this, and I doubt MS will change things now.
There are plenty of other bad things going on, but I wonder if the XBO will start having the same problem in a few years.
Then something is fucked up. Maybe recalibrate it with the TV volume way up, or whatever the trick is. Mine works close to flawlessly, and I sure as hell wouldn't trade it for the 360 UI. "Xbox mute" alone makes it awesome.
Meanwhile, I'm not a big fan of "HD" ports to the current gen. This one has me tempted though, as I really like DOA, and would certainly prefer playing it on the One. Still, DOA 6 for the current gen would make me a lot happier.
I understand, but it's easy to get around. The store is horrendous, but everything is better than the LINE OF SHIT that is PS4.
