Yeah it probably would have been the same result as what happened with Suter if Weber hit the unrestricted free agent market like he was scheduled to.
Looks like a lockout is all but confirmed at this point. Players and owners met today and didn't make any progress. There is no timetable for any future meetings.

Another lockout is exactly what the league deserves. Maybe they can make up some more stupid rules to further ruin the game while they're not actually playing. And somehow Pittsburgh will wind up with the #1 pick in the spring if the season is lost.
