I don't know why everyone dislikes him.
He was good on that old Disney show and The Greatest Game Ever Played. Transformers isn't his fault.
Because when he's at his best he's tolerable at best and when he's at his worst (which is most of the time) he's just THE WORST.
I thought he was fine in Battle of Shaker Heights and Disturbia.
