I decided to stick with PSN. PS3/Vita cross-buy was the decision maker.
Although I'm sure at some point I'll buy some of the tables on Steam during 75%+ off sales that are inevitable.

I have Twilight Zone but want Star Trek and T2. I'm so far behind on the table packs that it's not even funny.

I'd need a Li-lon battery the size of a '67 Chevy to power my PC on the Subway, though.
Keep in mind I don't have a Vita. I just like the idea of a Vita.
The PC version plus table packs 1-18 are coming out November 1.
Word on tate is that it's a post-launch update. Apparently bug-testing the dozens of tables is where their attention has been, and once the game is out and any post-launch bugs squashed, they'll get on to sorting out extra features like tate.
