Under Defeat Coming to 360, PS3

Unclear if it's XBLA/PSN or Retail. I kinda want retail for a slick boxed package, fuck money. Excited regardless, since I'll get to use my arcade stick and this game will look stupid good in high definition.

Both this and Border Down are games that I need to put more time into.

I expect this to be more of a graphical remake than a straight port. G.rev has always tried to gussy things up when porting up.

Under Defeat is real fucking good and sadly overshadowed as far as shooters from its era goes. It was also really pretty to begin with, with a stupid amount of detail, so an HD remake is going to be the best looking shmup of all time. I will buy this.

I kind of expect 800 points XBLA because of Strania (which was HD and not even a remake), but I also don't know how well Strania did for them financially compared to earlier releases.

I am kind of surprised they went for this and not the more famous/collectable Border Down.

But not really disappointed. They're different games, but I love them both, and like I said before, Under Defeat could look really sharp with the HD treatment.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm more interested in trying to beat Border Down. Like I'm going to turn this down, though.

Sold my sealed copy for like $140 earlier this year. I'll probably skip this, would rather it's Border Down.
