Oh, I love that stuff. But I've been on this recent kick where I add cayenne pepper to pretty much everything I eat instead of adding hot sauce. For me, it seems to provide a more even level of heat.
By the way, do you guys drain the water completely, leaving only the noodles or do you just leave it as one big soup. I prefer the latter myself.
I like it better just noodles if I'm having it at home, but I like the soup better if I'm out.
when I make ramen.
I boil the water. I put the ramen noodles and flavour pack in a microwave container. When water is boiled I pour the water in the bowl of noodles. I cover it and place it in the microwave and set it to 1:30. I then uncover it and its perfectly cooked and then I add the Sriracha, chili oil, hoisin, soy, oyster, and sesame oil.
If I have it on hand I put asparagus spears, bok choy, shitake mushrooms, and freshly minced garlic in when I microwave the noodles.
there was a restaurant in Long Beach that made the most awesome noodles. they were just totally plain but so good. Connecticut doesnt have restaurants nearly as good.
I found the best recipe for plain Ramen. Get your bitch in the kitchen where she belongs, and tell her what a disappointment she is to everyone around her. Make her stand over the pan while the Ramen are cooking. Tears are the perfect seasoning and make any meal a thousand times more savory.
What would you suggest adding to offset the added saltiness?
