First they came for the pirates.
Then they came for the pornographers.
Then they came for the cyberterrorists.

They're going to keep doing this until someone flips out and drives an 18wheeler full of jet fuel into an important government building, aren't they?

Because violence does eventually come if you make yourself a constant irritant.

Of course that may actually be the end goal. The US government has a history of annoying people until they retaliate, followed by crushing them and passing the 'preventive' legislation that they really wanted from the start.

Here go the Fascist goons again. It seems they're looking to pull the plug on anyone who questions them. Cybersecurity my ass. It's SOPA on steroids, more like "Censoring Internet Speech of Patriotic Americans". Hopefully the backlash against CISPA will be even more massive. Time for more internet blackouts. Any senator who backs this is not worthy of re-election.

Santorum has spat serious fire on CISPA, but his position is still too conservative. He lost me at "not a free zone" because it looks to me that he wants something milder than CISPA, yet still way too harsh. Law enforcement already has enough tools to protect property rights. If overseas pirates try to introduce their fakes into the USA, ICE already is authorized to seize them- even at the port. If you want to talk about "trampling the rights", let's not TTR of the average Joe to protect Louis Vuitton et al. Then again maybe it's not about Louis & friends. It's censorship using another cause as an excuse. Say hello to SOPA 2.
