Okay, I want this game now.

I want this Cartman figure:

But the Grand Wizard Edition is $80, and I have a preorder for the vanilla PC version locked in at $40. I can't justify $40 extra for it.
On the upside, it has been confirmed that it still uses Steamworks and not any Uplay garbage.
So just buy it? My comic shop has had it for months.
Newegg has it too. It's not as big, but w/e.
WTF? It's not even exclusive? That certainly solves that problem.
That one on Newegg is half the size of the one that comes with the game.
Impressions!
This game is straight up South Park in terms of humor. All sorts of nods to older episodes, characters staying in character, small nods at social commentary, and surprising variety of dildos to be found. There's some choice lines but I don't wanna ruin that part of the fun.
Combat's much like Paper Mario with timing needed for good attacking and defense. However the game expands on this by offering a variety of attack strengths and combo potential (based on weapons equipped). Knowing when a single heavy strike is preferred to a string of lighter hits is key to winning. So is defending against and making the most of debuffs, which are fairly powerful.
I'm also surprised by the game's "dungeons" - they're not too complicated in layout but behave like an adventure game. Certain skills can open paths and trigger a series of events that can knock out enemies, preventing combat altogether.
I was just hoping for something that was a decent rpg with Matt & Trey's writing, but so far this is a great game, easily one of Obsidian's best.
Awesome. After last week's double debacle, I'm putting all my chips on this one for the next couple weeks in terms of new game purchases. The wait for NewEgg to ship my copy to me is going to be painful.
Thanks Hero!
