South Park: The Stick of Truth (PC, PS3, 360)

NewEgg just charged my card for this, so I'm hoping that means it's going to ship a day early. All of these impressions are making the wait painful.

Amazon shipped mine yesterday so I'll have my Grand Wizard Cartman tomorrow.

This may have the best trophies/achievments list ever.

IGN gave it a 9.0. I'm going to give it a shot.

I like South Park but I seriously haven't seen an episode in like 5 years. I don't know why, I just stopped watching it. I don't think this game is for me.

Sounds like you stopped watching it the same time I did. I never saw the Coon stuff, or Kenny being legit dead, etc. I started watching again this season though.

It might be for you. I've only watched off and on for years, and I'm finding the game really funny so far. It's dominated by easy jokes and call backs, instead of convoluted social metaphors that doomed later episodes. It's also a very well made RPG. It's snappy and easy to get into. Watch some of the reviews or impressions vids out there if you're not sure, but I think that anyone who liked South Park humor at some time will get into this game. It helps if you like Cartman and Butters, since they dominate the early part of the game.
