For $5 I got a complete Mega Drive Phantasy Star 2, I despise the game. A loose Mega Drive Sonic 3. DS Monkey Ball case and Manual no game. Double Switch and Fifa Soccer with Manuals. The one that set me back $20 was a complete with sealed soundtrack DS Mahjong game. I passed on a mint and complete Mega Drive Contra he wanted $100. Anyways

My original NES and PS1 both died on me, but those are also well known pieces of shit. Aside from that, the only major issues I've had were capacitors and solder joints going bad on 20 year old hardware, both of which are easy fixes.
I had a first gen Sega genesis die after 10 years or more of heavy usage. Stuff like leaving it on for days and taking it all over the country in a duffel bag.
My fourth 360 is doing this too, and when it dies, that's all she wrote. I hardly turn the damn thing on anymore, and as soon as I do, I remember why I don't. I really don't give a shit about it anymore, so when it dies, I become a PS3 only player.Quote:

Got two sega gen game pads. The old slim model with the 6 buttons instead of the classic 3. They had an old big boy, but they wanted 5 for that and the smaller 6 buttons were 1.50 and 2.00. Sooo, why pay more for a technically inferior pad? Also got a Persona 3 guide for 2.00 and the cart for 688 attack sub

Got a massive PS2 haul at Gamestop today - disc-only Nightshade, FlatOut, Micro Machines, Smuggler's Run 2, HSX, PETER JACKSON'S KING KONG: THE OFFICIAL GAME OF THE MOVIE, Auto Modellista, and Guitar Hero III for a whopping $14. They all work and GH III was worth it just to see everyone in the house, starting with me, fail at the game and then gradually get better as we actually learned what buttons did what in the game.

Metal Gear Solid on the hardest difficulty became ridiculous by the second disc. At the point where I had to fight the copter I had already run out of missiles to take down the cameras with turrets on them. I really liked the game as a whole, though.
It's Substance. Snake Tales and shit are in there. MGS3 is also the Subsistance version, complete with the MSX games.

Odd thing I played MGS 1 on my Dreamcast with Bleem since I didn't have a PSX. Smoother graphics and a little less pixelation.
My wife changed our Verizon bundle yesterday. We now have 107 HD channels and my internet went from 13 Mbps/2Mbps to insanely fast!
We're actually saving $25 a month with this package and we'll get a $300 gift card in May.
