True but it feels like it's especially bad on /v/ since videogame discussion on the internet seems to bring out the fanboy in people, especially when you can remain anonymous.

I play "Gibson style" guitars. I've never owned a Gibson electric. The reason I prefer them over Fender's offerings is that they're heavier in weight. I'm really hard on instruments. I throw shit around.
