Indeed. I loved his work for a long time, but even I found his stuff repetitive over and over. That's just his style which is more apparent than others. What I can say is that from each soundtrack, the majority of tracks feel like emotionless filler and then come five or six songs in the entire score which are fantastic. Not saying that's some achievement, but the good tracks are solid.Quote:

This one wasn't as clever as the GBA game. Too much of it was guileless call-and-response, but it was still really fun. For every boring game (maraca lizards, DJ) there was a REALLY good one (Rocker 2, clapping monkeys).

I have to go back and finish but all golds is good enough, fuck waiting for the perfect window and then getting a perfect. Too much pressure.
Yeah, it's the DS one. Once you get all golds, there's always a perfect window open, which is nice.
Just completed Bionic Commando:Rearmed. Dunno why I never finished it back in '08 lol. I forgot how good the soundtrack is. Top notch game.

Around 40 hours, I guess I got the worst ending: (HUGE SPOILERS)Or maybe it's the normal one? Either way I don't consider getting assassinated good.

EDIT: Oh wait I still have to write about Dragon Age: Origins. Hrmmmmmm
#6 Fight Night Champions (Championship mode): The story mode is pretty good, even though the story is your typical redemption story. Some of the fights are interesting (no body blows, broken hand, etc), and the final boss fight kinda sucks since you basically have to not do anything for 4 rounds, and 3 rounds of just body blows. The 8th round is when you can actually knock him out and I did it in 10 seconds. Reminds me of the old Rocky game on SMS where you must follow the script or you will get KO'ed in 5 seconds.
Dino Crisis -- man they fucked up the last part of this game with some lame fetch quest puzzles. I guess I sort of did it to myself by taking Rick's path throughout the game. I hope Gail's path is more fun.
7.) VVVVVV (PC)
FINALLY got the last shiny trinket after getting through (what else) Veni, Vidi, Vici. I'd been stuck on this for days and took a week off after getting increasingly frustrated. Booted it up this evening and hit it on my first try. I'll have the soundtrack stuck in my head for months.
Man, I need to finish that game, but leveling up is such a tremendous pain in the ass. Is there a really good spot to do it, particularly for the new classes you get like White Knight and shit? Having them start at level 1 was BULLSHIT.Quote:
