I beat Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack on Vita last night. Great game! I particularly loved the last couple of levels. In "Blobzilla" you become big enough to devour an entire large city, and in the final level "Blobageddon" you devour the entire Earth, then move on to the other planets, and finally the sun itself.

Finished Resident Evil 5 (Gold Edition - PS3) recently. Once I got used to the (even more) action oriented gameplay I ended up enjoying it quite a bit. I liked it enough to play through the main game a few times, complete the extra episodes, collect all of the figures, acquire every piece of treasure, get access to all of the weapons and acquire the unlimited ammo option for my favorite ones. My only complaints are that the default color filter gave the game a greenish hue that made it look flat and washed out much of the time. My guess is that they were going for an eerie, dirty atmosphere with it, but I think that it just ended up making an otherwise great looking game a little less so. In contrast, the Lost in Nightmares episode didn't seem to have this filter on and, as a result, I thought the graphics looked far better. Gorgeous even. Everything really popped and, ironically, I thought that it allowed for a much creepier atmosphere. Also, I didn't love 5's item management. Sure, it made the game more challenging than 4, but, still, I thought it was unnecessary and even frustrating at times. Those two things aside, it's been a while since I dug a game this much. :tu:

ICO HD - Played through it twice, beat it in under 4 hours once, brought Yorda a watermelon. Fuck if I know how anyone can beat it in under 2. I liked the game but didn't love it. :tu::td:
Fahrenheit / Indigo Prophecy (PC) - Played through it a couple of times, enjoyed what was good, ignored what was bad, and got to see the infamous interactive sex scene. :tu:
Journey - So far I've only played it once. More of an experience than a game, since you don't actually have to do much to progress and it's super easy. But I liked the concept and it was definitely easy on the eyes and ears. Its name is certainly apt... much better than "Relaxing: The Game," which would've also been appropriate. All that said, I've no desire to unlock any of the trophies. :tu:
#2: Bastion. Massively overrated indie game of 2011. I really have to stop buying this junk. Nice music though.
Beat the Clones DLC for Saints Row Third. It was really short and sucked like all the DLC they released for the game.
#1: Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Legendary 1000/1000. I know that many here aren't really into Halo, and I'm not into FPS's, let alone playing them online competitively. But there's something about Halo: CE's campaign that really struck a cord with me when it was first released. I really enjoyed going through this again.
#2: Rayman Origins, 1000/1000. This is such a beautiful game. Really tight analog controls for a 2D platformer, fantastic art/music direction, a really fun atmosphere, and just the right amount of challenge. Every level is its own small puzzle to be figured out. Every platform, enemy, ramp, and srping jump are layed out perfectly for speed runs. At one point I thought it might be too long, but I just walked away for a week and was ready for more. The UbiArt framework produces beautiful results. They need to make more games using it. If you haven't purchased this game, I can't remcommend it enough!
#6 Storm Strikers (iOS). Finished it on normal and hard, don't think I will bother with Extreme since it took all 8 credits or whatever to just barely beat hard. The last level is ridiculous, you have no room to move and the pink lasers gives the tiniest window of warning.
7) Traitor. A little vertical shooter Newgrounds thingy that had some neat bits in it. Not a bad evening's gaming.

A digital "choose your own adventure game" with some instances of touch controls, you play as Shane during the lapse between when Rick got shot and he and Lori leave Atlanta. I liked the game a lot, but it's literally about 7 minutes long (it's free though, and requires Adobe Air to run). At least you can got back a few times and play it with different choices. I would have gladly paid for it had it been longer.

The death of Cing was like losing the love of your life to a horrible tragedy at a young age. Playing Again is like going through her things after you bury her, and discovering that she was hosting wild group sex parties in your bedroom while you were busy working two jobs to pay off her student loans. Double fisting cocks of the men you hate the most, that sort of thing. It's really terrible, and if Hotel Dusk meant anything to you, you should give this one a wide berth.
Mutant Mudds (3DS)
Mutant Mudds, on the other hand, was a pleasure. A tad short for the price, and some more upgrade variety would have spiced things up nicely, but it was fun while it lasted.

Great game. Fifteen years later, I still want to strangle the sadistic fuck that designed Wario's castle.
WarioWare, Inc: Mega Microgames! (GBA)
I've played most of the other WarioWare titles but somehow missed the original. Good times, A+, would play again, etc.
